Advanced Statistical Analysis Tool for High Cycle Fatigue Data
through
RANDOM FATIGUE LIMIT MODEL
With the sN-predictor, we are bringing the statistical analysis of High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) Data into the 21st century. Many of the currently still applied standard procedures (such as staircase method) were developed in the middle of the last century to allow for a quick assessment with very simplified calculations. But these methods/procedures have limitations and are based on arbitrary assumptions. The 5-parameter Random Fatigue Limit Model (RFLM) is a clean statistical procedure, where the failure free load level is one of the model parameters assessed through the maximum likelihood method. s/N-predictor is a web-based, intuitive and very easy to use software tool - developed for and with the test engineer in mind.
