DYNAMIC MATERIAL & COMPONENT TESTING
Fatigue Testing Services
For the fatigue and safety factor assessment of components, dynamic tests of the actual parts are required. Fatigue test allow the evaluation of the entire component processing and the scatter in production quality. Testing on material coupons are used for general characterization of dynamic material properties. Fatigue test programs are carried out with external partner labs that offer a wide range of dynamic testing equipment, covering anything from Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) to High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) and Very High Cycle Fatigue (VHCF - beyond 10^8 cycles), including environmental conditioning options. Material² provides the Know-How in the specific test system setup and analysis/interpretation of the test results.

Fatigue testing is a costly exercise. Parts availability and conditions, budget and time constraints need to be factored into an optimum test program for the individual customer. As the interface to the lab, we ensure that the client receives the maximum value from a test program under the given boundary conditions.
With access to the so-called "Resonance Fatigue Testing Technology", we can offer extremely competitive testing services with test frequencies ranging from 40Hz to 1000Hz.

Dynamic Testing Equipment
![]() In Partnership with RUMUL, Material² is representing the industry-leading Resonance Fatigue Test Equipment Manufacturer for customers who want to bring the Dynamic Testing Technology in-house. We are experts in Resonance Fatigue Testing Equipment, an extremely efficient and cost-effective fatigue testing technology with a test frequency from 40Hz to 1000Hz. The vast majority of material coupon and component level testing can be performed on these machines in lieu of inefficient servo-hydraulic systems. With energy usages of typically less than 1-2% of comparable servo-hydraulic systems, a smaller equipment footprint, no specific infrastructure needs and almost zero maintenance requirements, the GREEN alternative is the smarter alternative in testing technology.
